Tomoo Inagaki Gallery of the Reader Collection of Japanese Flower-and-Bird Art

Tomoo started as a commercial artist and later became a fulltime printmaker. Flowers and fruits were featured in more than twenty of his woodblock prints. Ten examples are shown below. Click on a picture to enlarge it. Tomoo used a modern, creative drawing style in which shapes were either simplified or partly distorted and colors sometimes falsified.
